In 2025, reports linked Renee with the actor and producer after he appeared in social-media material connected with family gatherings, including her brother Liam Stewart’s wedding. The South China Morning Post noted that Sumner had appeared in Renee’s social-media reels and identified him as an actor and executive producer associated with the 2023 crime thriller Gassed Up.
